CAMPO CERCANO is the sound studio of Maiki Calvo, Jorge Alarcón, and Brendan Golden, who, after many years of working together on various projects, have decided to come together to establish themselves as independent post-producers. CAMPO CERCANO is their way of growing and consolidating, leveraging their expertise in the sound effects editing and dialogues. In their studio in the heart of Madrid, they have multiple editing rooms, ATMOS pre-mixing, and ADR recording capabilities.

Maiki Calvo
Maiki Calvo, with over fifteen years of experience in the industry, has supervised films such as Tiempo después, Los del túnel, or Costa da Morte, which was honored at the Locarno International Film Festival and the TV series Poquita fé. He alternates his career as a supervisor with that of a sound effects editor for other studios, where his notable work includes El desconocido (Goya Award for Best Sound in 2015), Justin and the Knights of Valour, and series such as La Linea Invisible (Movistar+) or Cuatro Estaciones en La Habana .
Jorge Alarcón
Jorge Alarcón, dialogue editor for some of the most relevant series on Movistar+ (Hierro, Apagón), Netflix (Élite), HBO (Por H o por B, 30 Monedas), and films such as 20.000 especies de abejas, La sociedad de la nieve y Cerrar los ojos. Currently, he works alongside Joakim Sundström supervising the dialogue for their projects (This England, All of us strangers, Greed). His notable contributions also include serving as a sound supervisor for La mala familia and as the sound mix for El año del descubrimiento.
Brendan golden
Brendan Golden has worked as a sound effects editor and sound designer on projects for Netflix (La sociedad de la nieve, Bienvenidos a Edén, Un hombre de acción), Movistar+ (Blackout), A3Media (La ruta), Amazon Prime (Dias mejores, Historias para no dormir). He has also served as a sound supervisor on films such as Mamántula and El color del cielo and as a sound designer on Bollywood films like A Gentleman, as well as the acclaimed Indian series The Family Man.
